Statewide priorities
In support of the Victorian Cancer Plan, the VICS are working with health services, other cancer care stakeholders, and people affected by cancer to:

Improve equity of access to high-quality cancer care
People affected by cancer should not be disadvantaged by who they are, where they live, or what resources they have.

Support implementation of the Optimal Care Pathways
The OCPs are a nationally endorsed framework for delivering consistent, safe, high-quality, and evidence-based care to people affected by cancer.

Improve wellbeing and support for Victorians affected by cancer
Facilitating high-quality supportive care and survivorship care, plus improving timely and appropriate referrals to palliative care and advance care planning.
