Consumer engagement at BSWRICS
BSWRICS is committed to improving the experiences and outcomes of those affected by cancer in the Barwon South Western region.
Consumer involvement in the planning, delivery and evaluation of our programs continues to be an important focus in how we improve cancer services in the region.
Consumers with a cancer experience are recruited for cancer-specific project groups in partnership with our member services.
We work in partnership with the regional health services that provide services for people with cancer across the Barwon South Western region.
Consumers help support the work undertaken by BSWRICS, including:
- BSWRICS Governance Committee
- project committees and workshops
- review of information for people with a cancer diagnosis
- attendance at meetings and events.
