Survivorship education - Nutrition
This video has been developed by PICS, Victoria’s Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service.
PICS has developed a series of e-learning modules for health professionals on survivorship and the importance of long-term follow-up for children and adolescents following treatment for cancer.
The video below describes common nutritional issues in children and adolescents who have been through cancer treatment, including:
- fussy eating
- being overweight / obesity
- low bone mineral density
- inactivity.
