This e-learning pack has been developed by PICS, Victoria’s Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service. 

E-learning pack for the PICS Introduction to Paediatric Oncology for allied health, administration and support staff.

This education pack covers:

  • treatment modalities
  • side effects
  • psychosocial impact of cancer.

The pack includes:

• • a 4-part video series of learning sessions
  • supporting slides to accompany the learning
  • an FAQ sheet
  • a post-course information pack.

The video learning sessions are also available separately:

• • Session 1: Paediatric cancer in Victoria, and types of childhood cancer
  • Session 2: Treatment and side effects of childhood cancer
  • Session 3: The psychosocial impact of childhood cancer on patients and families
  • Session 4: Clinical care.
