Palliative care virtual clinic – Monash Health

In October 2020, Monash Health established a pilot Palliative Care Virtual Clinic (PCVC) to enable virtual palliative care consultation of outpatients attending oncology clinics, whether these were being delivered face to face or by video consultation via health direct or telephone.

SMICS supported the interim 6-month evaluation of this project. Results have been withheld pending finalisation of the project and potential publication.
