SMICS Annual Report 2023-24

As we close out the year, we are proud to share SMICS Annual Report which showcases the investment SMICS has made to improve services for people affected by cancer in southern Melbourne in 2023-24. In addition to the completion of twenty local projects, SMICS led/co-led three statewide VICS initiatives and our funding program invested in six innovative local health service improvement projects which would otherwise not have been possible.

We thank the consumers, clinicians and health service staff who have so generously supported SMICS with your time and knowledge throughout 2024. Your ongoing efforts to improve the experience and outcomes for people with cancer in southern Melbourne are greatly appreciated.

Looking ahead, we remain focused on working together to deliver the goals of the new Victorian cancer plan and to continue to drive meaningful improvements in care for those affected by cancer.
