LMICS held their Annual Forum in August 2024 with an emphasis on Sexuality and Cancer Care: sexual health, expression, intimacy and wellbeing which was well-received.

This event was for any person supporting patients in their cancer care, with the opportunity to ask questions to our panel of 5 speakers:

  • Facilitated by A/Prof Safeera Hussainy – Senior Pharmacy Research Manager at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University and Honorary Principal Fellow at University of Melbourne.
  • Naveena Nekkalapudi – Consumer Speaker
  • Julie McGirr – Clinical Nurse Specialist, Cancer Council Victoria
  • Craig Millard – Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, Cancer Specialist Nurse at Mildura Base Public Hospital
  • Dr. Sabine Roithmaier – Medical Oncologist at Bendigo Regional Cancer Centre, Bendigo Health
