HRICS attend VICS Colorectal cancer Optimal Care Summit
On Friday, February 28th, the Victorian Integrated Cancer Service (VICS) hosted the Colorectal Cancer Summit, bringing together experts to examine the unwarranted variations and contributing factors of colorectal cancer across Victoria. The summit provided a vital platform to explore potential opportunities for both statewide and local service improvements in the fight against colorectal cancer.
Hume Regional Integrated Cancer Service (HRICS) were privileged to have Javier Torres, Ayesha Saqib, Georgi Atanasov and Jovy Carpio join the HRICS team members at the summit representing our region and offered valuable insights on priorities and solutions. Their contributions played a key role in shaping the discussions, ensuring a comprehensive approach to addressing the challenges in colorectal cancer care across the state. We thank our clinicians representing the Hume area for their time and contributions.
