The VICS Care of the Older Person with Cancer toolkit has been updated for April 2024.

This VICS resource helps to identify and address existing barriers, examples of existing geriatric oncology services, and key resources to support staff education, patients and carers. We recently added content to cover:

discussing goals of care
ageism
the Australian Cancer Plan
NACCHO Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cancer Plan
new guidelines & education modules
additional assessment tools/pathways.
