Prostate cancer support group

Who can access the service?

  • Age Demographic: 18 – 25 years old, Adult 18+
  • When: From the day of diagnosis
  • Patient eligibility: up to 5 years post treatment completion
  • Who can refer me? Specialist eg. oncologist, haematologist
    • GP referral
    • Cancer Care Coordinator
    • Nursing staff
    • Community health
    • Patient able to self-refer

Service details:

  • Service operations: 11-15 patients, 3 days/week
  • Time spent for an appointment: open space, ongoing access
  • Service can cater to urban, rural, or remote populations
