LTFP clinical practice guidelines quick reference guide
This resource has been developed by PICS, Victoria’s Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service.
The LTFP clinical guidelines quick reference guide has been developed to guide late effects monitoring within the Victorian Long Term Follow-up Program (LTFP), for paediatric and adolescent survivors of childhood cancer.
The purpose of this quick reference guide is to:
- assist LTFP medical and nursing staff in determining the necessary assessments, tests, and investigations based on each patient’s diagnosis and treatment
- support the creation of an accurate roadmap for recommended future tests and investigations
- promote consistency and transparency in late effects monitoring for patients within the LTFP.
The LTFP clinical guidelines quick reference guide has been developed in consultation with survivorship experts, and in alignment with COG LTF Guidelines and current best-practice literature.
