Childhood cancer treatment and side effects (allied health e-learning #2)
This resource has been developed by PICS, Victoria’s Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service.
As part of our professional development and education resources for health professionals, PICS has developed an e-learning pack and series of videos as an introduction to paediatric oncology for allied health, administration and support staff.
This is the second video in the series, Session 2: Childhood Cancer Treatment and Side Effects.
It covers:
- common approaches to treatment in childhood cancer
- common short and long term sides effects associated with treatment
- implications for allied health providers.
This e-learning is best understood when used in conjunction with the other materials in the e-learning pack, such as the supporting slides.
