Paediatric cancer in Victoria, and types of childhood cancer (allied health e-learning #1)

This resource has been developed by PICS, Victoria’s Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service. 

As part of our professional development and education resources for health professionals, PICS has developed an e-learning pack and series of videos as an introduction to paediatric oncology for allied health, administration and support staff.

This is the first video in the series, Session 1 (parts 1 and 2): Paediatric Cancer in Victoria, and Types of Types of Childhood Cancer: Implications for Allied Health Professionals.

It covers:

• paediatric cancer in the Victorian context
• different types of childhood cancer
• how this influences allied healthcare interventions.

This e-learning is best understood when used in conjunction with the other materials in the e-learning pack, such as the supporting slides.
