Allied health introduction to paediatric oncology e-learning pack

This e-learning pack has been developed by PICS, Victoria’s Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service. 

As part of our professional development and education resources for health professionals, PICS has developed an e-learning pack and series of videos as an introduction to paediatric oncology for allied health, administration and support staff.

This education pack covers:

• • common types of childhood cancer
  • treatment modalities
  • side effects of cancer and cancer treatment
  • the psychosocial impact of cancer
  • how these influence allied health interventions.

The pack includes:

• • a 4-part video series of learning sessions
  • supporting slides to accompany the learning
  • an FAQ sheet
  • a post-course information pack.
