Strengthening early nutritional screening and intervention
Caroline Lasry attended the MASCC annual meeting in Melbourne 25th-27th June, presenting “Timeliness of malnutrition screening and dietitian referrals for UGI cancer patients in a regional health service”.
The project identified opportunities to strengthen early nutritional screening and intervention, while also highlighting several initiatives already implemented to improve care pathways.
The meeting allowed for networking with passionate and patient-centred supportive care experts, allowing for collaboration and development of future initiatives and projects. It was an opportunity to showcase some of our regional initiatives, with these presentations leading to valuable conversations which may shape future collaborations.
