Three health services in the Loddon Mallee Region have been successful in their applications for VICS-funded survivorship projects.

The VICS Survivorship Grant Project at Bendigo Cancer Centre has appointed their Project Officer, Jessica Cozens. The project is surrounding an Allied Health-led Survivorship Clinic that assesses a person’s needs post treatment or during maintenance treatment for those with metastatic disease. They aim to contact people post treatment and complete a survivorship appointment where a person completing treatment will be provided with a treatment summary and screened for unmet needs. The aim of this project is to set up this clinic and continue expanding their database of regional services they can refer patients to for care closer to home.
