Moderating Effect of Physical Activity and Handgrip Strength on Prostate Cancer Survival
The Cancer Nurses Society of Australia Annual Congress is a key national event bringing together cancer nurses, researchers and leaders to share and advance practice, and will include a presentation by Nazib Khan, Cancer Service Improvement Coordinator from Gippsland Regional Integrated Cancer Service.
Nazib Khan will be presenting at CNSA 2026, showcasing research that examines the role of lifestyle and physical function factors in prostate cancer survival, based on a large prospective cohort analysis from the UK Biobank conducted in accordance with RECORD guidelines. The presentation will outline the study’s aim and approach, with a focus on how self‑reported physical activity and handgrip strength relate to long‑term survival among men with prostate cancer, and how these factors impact patient outcomes.
