Grampians Regional Supportive Cancer Care - Community of Practice

GICS facilitate Grampians Regional Supportive Cancer Care Community of Practice (CoP)

In response to conversations with our health service partners, wishing for improved connectedness across the region, the ‘Grampians Regional Supportive Cancer Care Community of Practice (CoP) was born.

Formally commencing in February 2026, the CoP provides a opportunity for those who work in a supportive cancer care role in the Grampians,  to exchange information, learn from each other and collaborate on activities that will be beneficial to the role they occupy and the people they interact with.

Meetings occur monthly, for one hour, generally involving a short presentation on a supportive care related activity, followed by an open forum for attending members to provide updates on what has been happening in their area, discuss challenges and generally connect.

This CoP is being piloted for 6 months, at which stage, the functionality will be evaluated.

If this is something you wish to be involved in please get in touch with Hannah.
