Enhancing Central Venous Access Device (CVAD) Safety Through Simulation Based Education in Regional Cancer Care

A HRICS Service Improvement Grant is supporting the Cancer Services Team at Albury Wodonga Health to reduce peripheral inserted central catheter (PICC) and central venous access device (CVAD) related infections. This will be achieved by strengthening staff competency and standardising central line management practices through structured simulation-based education.
