BRICC Wellness Centre - Cancer Bereavement Support Pilot

The BRICC Wellness Centre obtained GICS Service Improvement Grant Program funding to develop a model of support for those experiencing grief.

This project – Cancer Bereavement Support project aims to pilot a model of support for families / carers experiencing grief through cancer death by providing timely information, acknowledgement and offering a support group opportunity.

A project plan is currently in development which will further outline the activities planned for this project.

  • Resources for families & carers
  • Acknowledgement to those going through grief
  • Cancer Bereavement Support Sessions
  • Training of Facilitators to lead planned support sessions
  • Process mapping & resourcing.
