Brain Tumours Online expands to support people living with brain metastases

Supported by a VICS Survivorship Program Grant, this project will expand the Brain Tumours Online (BTO) platform to better support people living with brain metastases. Currently, there is no dedicated Australian online resource for this group. The project will develop new evidence-based information, webinars, and digital tools to help patients and carers navigate treatment, supportive care, and survivorship. A consumer advisory panel will guide the development of content to ensure it reflects lived experience and priority information needs.

The initiative will also establish moderated online community groups and promote the expanded platform through the VICS network, strengthening access to trusted information and peer support.
