The VICS team comprises a variety of roles – including service improvement officers, project leads and managers, data analysts, communications leads, and administrators. Most of us are attached to a specific Integrated Cancer Service (ICS – a partnership of health services that cover a specific area), while a few undertake statewide roles. Each of us is employed via one of the ICS member health services.

Data Collection Officer (Grade 3)
BSWRICS is looking for a Data Collection Officer to support Evaluation of Cancer Outcomes Registry. The temporary full-time role (until May 2027) is ideal for someone with experience or interest in health data, data quality, and working with clinical teams, who wants to make a real impact in cancer care.

Clinical Director
GICS is looking for someone who can provide strategic clinical leadership, influence system‑wide improvement, and work collaboratively within the Victorian Integrated Cancer Service (VICS) network. This role offers flexibility, impact, and the opportunity to improve outcomes and experiences for people affected by cancer.
This fixed-term, part-time position will suit someone who has:
- medical background with clinical leadership in oncology
- strong knowledge of contemporary cancer care practice
- experience leading service or system-level change
- ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups
- high standards of integrity, ethics, and professional practice.

Strategic Manager
Bendigo Health (host service for LMICS) is recruiting for a Strategic Manager for LMICS. The role provides leadership in the implementation of cancer reform and innovation, establishes and maintains clinician, consumer and health service engagement at the local level, and is responsible for the administration and delivery of the LMICS program – including planning, coordination and resource management (human and financial) for projects and program activities. At the state level, the Strategic Manager is active within the VICS (Victorian Integrated Cancer Services) network.
- Classification: HS7
- Salary per fortnight (excl. super): $4,696.40
- Hours per fortnight: 80 h (incl. an ADO every 4 weeks)
- Employment status: Ongoing, full-time.
