Cancer Survivorship Clinical Network webinar 19 September 2025
In September 2025, the VICS hosted our second Cancer Survivorship Clinical Network webinar.
This free, online event brought together passionate experts, healthcare professionals, and others dedicated to improving quality of life for cancer survivors.
Participants highlighted key challenges such as balancing clinical workloads with project commitments, managing resistance to change, and sustaining enthusiasm and funding throughout the project timeline. Some valuable tips that emerged from these discussions included:
- engaging the right people
- defining clear project steps and timelines
- using social media for promotion
- maintaining strong stakeholder management through structured and purposeful meetings.
Attendees also shared practical advice on communication, collaboration, and evaluation – emphasising the importance of clarity, consistency, and early investment in planning for long-term success.
The VICS offer heartfelt thanks to our distinguished speakers for their invaluable insights, and to all attendees for their active participation and thoughtful engagement.
