Strengthening Cancer Survivorship Care Across Victoria
The VICS Statewide Survivorship Program aim is improving access to coordinated, high‑quality care for people after cancer treatment across Victoria.
Funded by the Victorian Department of Health, the program supports health services to strengthen and scale existing survivorship models of care. In 2025, key achievements included completing Victoria’s first statewide scan of survivorship services, launching the Cancer Follow‑Up Care Catalogue, and investment to support survivorship care implementation in metropolitan and regional health services.
With governance structures and a statewide clinical network now established, the program is moving into its next phase—supporting implementation, evaluation and long‑term sustainability.
