BSWRICS Clinical Advisory Group

BSWRICS is seeking expressions of interests from clinicians and service leaders across the Barwon South Western (BSW) region to join the BSWRICS Clinical Advisory Group.

The Clinical Advisory Group acts as a conduit between Victorian Integrated Cancer Services (VICS) and clinicians working across the region. Membership includes representatives from nursing, allied health, general practice, and medical specialties, and we aim to maintain broad representation across health services and communities within the BSW region.

The group supports the sharing of information about current statewide and regional cancer initiatives and provides an opportunity for members to raise local issues that may help guide BSWRICS priorities. Meetings offer a forum for clinicians and service leaders to discuss service gaps, review quality initiatives, and support collaborative projects across the region.

The time commitment is minimal, with quarterly meetings of one hour and limited work required outside meetings, aside from the occasional request for feedback on specific projects.

Expressions of interest are welcomed from senior clinicians across the BSW region who have an interest in contributing to regional cancer service planning and improvement. Clinicians who have a strong understanding of local service delivery, system integration, and regional challenges, and who can represent the perspectives of their discipline, service, or community, are encouraged to apply or be nominated.
