Allied Health oncoED Webinar: findings and perspectives on physical activity in lung cancer care

The Evidence and the Experience: Quantitative findings and patient perspectives on physical activity in lung cancer care

BSWRICS invites you to join our upcoming oncoED educational webinar exploring the growing evidence base for physical activity and rehabilitation in lung cancer care. This webinar will feature Professor Catherine Granger, an internationally recognised physiotherapist, researcher and leader in cancer rehabilitation.

Drawing on both research evidence and lived patient experiences, Professor Granger will discuss the role of physical activity throughout the cancer journey, with a particular focus on lung cancer. The session will examine the impact of exercise and rehabilitation on treatment outcomes, recovery, quality of life and survivorship, while highlighting practical strategies for supporting patient engagement in physical activity.

This webinar will be valuable for allied health clinicians, nurses, medical practitioners and other healthcare professionals interested in evidence-based approaches to cancer rehabilitation, prehabilitation and patient-centred supportive care.
